The beer hall in question
Jon's mattresses refers to a collection of mattresses in Jon's room, first featured in Let's Play WITS & WAGERS.
During online games, particularly during the Zoom era of BGC, Jon Gracey recorded from a room containing a bed piled with mattresses. The number of mattresses seemed to fluctuate and were often mentioned by others in the cast. In truth, these were not his mattresses as he was recording videos in the spare room of a holiday house. The spare room had two single beds, so they stacked them up in order to fit in the desk.
Notable moments[]
- At the beginning of Let's Play WITS & WAGERS (when Adam also tells Jon he needs to bet his 2 beds) and again in Let's Play SECRET HITLER, Jon quickly concealed the mattresses with a Zoom background of a beer hall. This did not go unnoticed.
- In Let's Play SAY ANYTHING, Tom commented on Jon's two beds. Later, Jon joked that he was a staunch flat earther and Laurie said that the earth was sandwiched between two celestial beds.
